Emergency Sewer Line Replacement in Trumbull, CT
The Challenge
A Trumbull homeowner called EcoFlow in February 2026 after every drain in the house had backed up and stopped working. The culprit was a collapsed sewer line under the yard, likely a section of the original pipe that had given way after decades of ground movement and age. Our Solution
EcoFlow mobilized the same day. We brought in an excavator to open the trench alongside the deck and through the yard, exposing the full extent of the collapsed section. The old failed pipe was removed and we installed new SDR35 PVC sewer pipe, properly pitched for gravity flow from the house to the municipal connection. A cleanout fitting was added at the foundation connection point for future access, and the entire run was carefully bedded and backfilled once inspected.
The Result
Full drain service was restored to the home before the end of the workday. The new PVC sewer line, properly graded and bedded, will not be subject to the corrosion or ground-shift failure that brought down the old pipe.
